Ease + Flow: My Non-Negotiable
Two years ago, I landed on a phrase that has shaped everything in my life since: Ease + Flow.
It’s my life code now. My non-negotiable. It’s worth everything to me.
At the time, overwhelm was running the show. My schedule was too full, and I just kept telling myself to “push through.” I treated it like an Olympic sport, like if I could just endure enough, there’d be a medal waiting at the finish line.
But here’s the problem: there is no finish line when you live that way. You never arrive. You just keep grinding, chasing, depleting.
I don’t play that game anymore.
Now, when life starts to feel too heavy, I immediately reset.
✨ I reschedule appointments.
✨ I cancel plans.
✨ I spend more on payroll.
✨ I close my shop.
Not from fear. But from wisdom. Because I know the price of pushing through — and it’s always more than I’m willing to pay.
The money I spend on ease and flow isn’t wasted. It’s an investment. In myself. In my staff. In the work I’m here to do.
I’ve learned I’m not playing for the short-term win. I’m not playing for hustle medals. I’m playing the infinite game. And the infinite game requires a different kind of stamina — the kind that only comes when I honor my own code.
Ease + flow. Always.
